The status of this site is that it is evolving. Once I had the idea planted in my head, the priority was to get the site launched. This is why it currently doesn’t look as slick and polished as it maybe should.

One reason for the lack of polish is that I used my own template which works and is good for SEO. And, I am playing around with the elements that are on the pages. For example, I want to encourage social interaction on the site, so there is a very prominent MyBlogLog area where visiting bloggers can get exposure. I hope some fit looking oriental babes are going to show up though

Today I added the FeedBurner RSS subscription link and external site links. Also I linked to this site from 2 other established sites to get it noticed by search engines.

I am expecting to generate significant traffic to this site. The 1st day I had 7 unique visitors, the 2nd day I got over 40 uniques and today is the 3rd day. Hopefully I can maintain this momentum with your support and get to the daily 1000’s of visitors I am aiming for.

A key element I think is social interaction so while I was surfing MyBlogLog sites, I did find a few that I liked reading so I hope to quote some snippets from these sites in articles I write and exchange traffic.

Next I am thinking to make a Squidoo lens and a Blogger site to give 2 more external traffic feeds to this site. I just need to think about what content to place on these networks. Also I want to post some videos on YouTube to get some traffic from there and get video on my site.

p.s. I just stumbled across Manilenya’s blog I don’t understand the language but she seems to be using a lot of interactive stuff which are worth checking out to help retain visitors.
